Laurelhurst and Windermere are very established, affluent neighborhoods located east of the University of Washington. This area is home to some of the more expensive in-city real estate in Seattle, with many multi-million dollar mansions on the water.

Housing in this area is almost exclusively owner-occupied single-family homes. Rental homes do come available periodically and are quite expensive. This area boasts beautiful architecture and many homes have lake views or are lake-front properties.
